Penang, Malaysia – May 15, 2025 – Emerix Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., the SEA Sales Region of Korea-based company specializing in the Manufacturing and R&D of Flying Probe Testers and other probe testers, proudly announces the official opening of a newly rebuilt playground at Wisma Yatim Perempuan Islam Pulau Pinang, now named Taman Emerix. The opening ceremony was held on May 15, 2025, marking a meaningful step in Emerix Malaysia’s long-term commitment to supporting underprivileged children.

This initiative is part of an ongoing collaboration between Emerix Malaysia and the Persekutuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Islam Pulau Pinang (PKAYIPP). The relationship began in March 2025, when Emerix made its first donation to the orphanage, launching its community support slogan:
“Mencurah Harapan, Kecapi Kebahagiaan” – Pouring Hope, Embracing Happiness.
This message has since guided the company’s social engagement efforts, especially those focusing on creating a safer and more joyful childhood for orphans and vulnerable youth.

The idea to rebuild the playground came after Emerix Malaysia’s CEO, Mr. William Won Joon Lee, visited the facility earlier this year.
“It broke my heart to see the children unable to play. The old play ground was broken and dangerous. Every child deserves a joyful and secure environment,” he shared.
This concern became the spark behind the project to provide a new, safe, and fun playground for the children and make happiness of memorise. The playground has now been officially named Taman Emerix, a tribute to Emerix Malaysia’s dedication to the orphanage and its continued support for the welfare of these children.

To commemorate this milestone and demonstrate its lasting commitment, Emerix Malaysia presented a specially crafted plaque during the ceremony —as a symbolic and heartfelt promise of continuous support. The plaque was signed by both the company and the orphanage, representing a public affirmation of their shared values and goals.
As the first official initiative following the plaque signing, Emerix Malaysia announced a pledge to donate a portion of the proceeds from every Flying Probe Tester sold in Malaysia to PKAYIPP. Additionally, customers introduced through Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Haji Mohd. Yussof Abdul Latiff, President of the Islamic Orphans Welfare Association of Penang, will receive a special discounted rate, encouraging more companies to contribute while benefitting from Emerix’s reliable test solutions.

During the ceremony, Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Haji Mohd. Yussof Abdul Latiff expressed his heartfelt gratitude and urged others to join the cause:
“We are truly touched by Emerix Malaysia’s compassion and sincerity. This initiative shows that business and charity can go hand in hand,” said Tan Sri.
“I encourage companies that require testing equipment, especially Flying Probe Testers, to consider Emerix Malaysia. Not only will you receive reliable, high-quality machines, but you will also be contributing directly to the betterment of these children’s lives. Every purchase makes a difference. Let’s grow together, and give hope together.”
CEO Mr. William Won Joon Lee reaffirmed the company’s mission-driven approach:
“Children are not only the heart of our communities — they are the future of Malaysia. Supporting them isn’t just giving back; it’s about investing in what matters most. We will continue walking alongside PKAYIPP to ensure these children have the safety, joy, and opportunities they deserve.”
This playground project marks only the beginning of a broader effort. Emerix Malaysia aims to integrate compassionate action with business growth, setting an example for corporate responsibility in the region.
